News of XBRL in India

  • Time-line to file XBRL documents has been extended again to 30th November'11 or with in 60 days of the due date, whichever is later.                                                                                              [General Circular No. 57 dated 28.07.2011] 
  • Condition of certification of XBRL documents by Statutory Auditor removed and now any practicing CA/CS/CWA can certify the XBRL documents before uploading it on MCA website.

  • In the first phase of implementation approx 30,000 companies shall be covered which is approx 4% of total companies in India.
